 COMPETITIVE TENDER

NAME OF PROJECT: PRINTING AND DELIVERY OF EXAMINATION PAPERS 2022

1. The Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development (MEHRD), hereinafter called the "Purchaser", invites tenders from eligible and qualified tenderers for the Printing and Delivery of Examination Papers 2022 as specified in the tender documents.
2. The Scope of the work shall be the printing of 2022 National Examination papers, packaging and labellingfor individual schools and delivery to MEHRD 2nd Floor of Tongs Building at Point Cruz. A full description of the Specifications and Schedule Requirement is included in the Tender Document. The work is in four Lots; one, any or all can be quoted:
   LOT 1: Printing and packing of SIY9 English and Mathematics of National Examination papers
   LOT 2: Printing and packing of SIY9 Science and Social Studies of National Examination papers
   LOT 3: Printing and packing of SISC National Examination papers
   LOT 4: Printing and packing of SINF6SC National Examination papers
   
   
3. Tendering will be conducted through the Lowest Responsive Price Competitive Tendering procedure specified in the SIG Financial Instructions 2010 and the Procurement and Contract Administration Manual, and is open to all eligible Suppliers.
   
   
4. Interested, eligible Suppliers may obtain further information from Theresa Saveke at the Procurement and Contract Management Unit, MEHRD, at Tong's 4 Storey Building, Point Cruz, Honiara, Solomon Islands from 09:00 to 16:00 on Mondays to Fridays and inspect the Tender Documents at the address below.

    
5. A complete set of Tender documents in English may be obtained electronically by interested Suppliers via email, TSaveke@mehrd.gov.sb. If a hard copy is required can be collected at level 3 Tong's Building with Procurement Unit MEHRD.
   
   
6. No Pre-Tender Meeting will be held however requests for clarification may be submitted by email to Theresa Saveke, TSaveke@mehrd.gov.sb and the responses will be forwarded to all suppliers who have expressed interest in the tender.

    
7. All Tenders may be submitted in one (1) original plus one (1) copy, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in the presence of Suppliers' representatives who choose to attend the opening.

    
8. Tenders, comprising the documents identified in the Instruction to Tenderers (ITT), and following the requirements of the ITT, must be delivered to the address below at or before 14:00 hrs on Thursday 29th September 2022. Tenders shall be valid for a period of 60 days after the deadline for Tender submission. Late Tenders will be rejected.
