The Solomon Islands Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources (MFMR) has received funding from the World Bank for the implementation of the second phase of the Pacific Islands Regional Oceanscape Program (PROP) in the Solomon Islands.  The second phase, Pacific Islands Regional Oceanscape Program for Economic Resilience (SB PROPER) will continue on the gains and progresses made under the first phase of PROP, but also building from the lessons learnt with more specific technical, advisory and management support to ensure MFMR can efficiently and effectively implement its mandate. The SB PROPER it is now effective as of July 2022.

The SB PROPER’s development objective is to strengthen regional collaboration and national capacity for the management and sustainable development of the oceanic and coastal fisheries sector in Solomon Islands and has three components with a project life span of five years.

MFMR is requesting expressions of interest (REOI) from qualified consultants for the role of Procurement Specialist who will be part of the Project Management Unit (PMU) of PROPER, MFMR.

    • Technical Requirements
      • Experience, Skills and Knowledge (See Qualification Requirements)
      • Referees
    • Financial Requirements
      • Consultancy Rate must be inclusive of taxes as required by Solomon Islands Government Tax Laws for Consultancy Services
    • Confirmation of your availability
