The West based contractors were urged to make use of the new range of waterproofing products. Asian Paints South Pacific Limited general manager Amit Bose made those remarks at the launching of the two new waterproofing products at Radisson Blu Resort on Denarau Islands on Thursday night.
He said APCO now brings two new waterproofing products – SmartCare Damp Proof Advanced for exterior walls and roofs and SmartCare Damp Proof Undertile Membrane for bathrooms and internal wet areas.
Both the new products come with eight years waterproofing warranty.
While Damp Proof Advanced with HydroFlex Technology is designed for protection against UV, rain and harsh climatic conditions, the Undertile Membrane is designed to handle constant wet conditions and for quick tiling.
“Customer centricity & Innovation is what enables us to continuously enhance our product range to cater to our customer needs.
“These new products are designed especially for Fiji's tropical climate,” Mr Bose said.
Regional marketing manager, Amritha Sridhar said a part of an internationally-renowned group with a turnover of over US$3.8 billion, Apco Coatings is now expanding its waterproofing offerings to provide quick and reliable solutions to the Fijian consumer.
